 Wine Delivery:
We deliver wine within the following 25 states: AK, CA, CT, DC, FL, HI, ID, IL, LA, MA, MO, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NY, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, VA, WV, WY. Click here to see important restrictions and Sales Tax information for the states listed above.
Delivery Times:
Every effort is made to ship your order as soon as possible. We will contact you if we anticipate a delay in readying your order for pickup by our shipping vendors. Standard shipping is FedEx, UPS, or DHL Ground, which is estimated to take 3-10 business days after pickup, depending on the destination zip code. Due to the complex nature of shipping wine (it is fragile, heavy, and highly regulated by the authorities), it is impossible to accurately predict individual order arrivals.
Shipping Charges:
Ground Shipping and Handling charges are $9.75 for cases or gift boxes of 3 bottles or less, and $14.75 for 4 to 12 bottles for each case or gift box. Expedited shipping is also available. PA customers are subject to a State mandated $4.50 Handling Charge. AK and HI recipients are subject to a shipping surcharge of $110 and $90 respectively per box.
ID Required on All Orders:
You must be 21 years of age to order. Liquor laws require adult signature upon delivery. We, or our contracting shipping agents reserve the right to require proof of date of birth.
Return Policy:
If you are unsatisfied with the wine you have purchased, we will take back all unopened bottles within 30 days of purchase. Call 1-800-760-3960 to arrange for pick-up.
Mixed Cases:
Please feel free to mix different bottles of wine in our 3-, 6- and 12-bottle cases (or our 2-, 3-, 6-, and 12-bottle gift cases).
Referrals:
Tell your family, friends and colleagues about The Wine Messenger, and receive a special gift. E-mail us the names and addresses of your referrals, and if they place a 12-bottle case order, you will receive a free bottle of wine with your next order (up to a $20 value). Due to regulatory constraints, we are unable to extend this offer to our Connecticut customers.

Restrictions and Sales Tax:
By law, we are required to collect sales tax in the following states: NY-7%-9.5% (by county), CT-6%, NJ-6%, IL-6.5%, FL-6%-7.5% (by city), LA-4%, NV-6.5%-7.75% (by city), WY-12%, NH-8%, PA-25%, CA-7.25-8.75% (by city), and VA-5%. PA tax includes 18% Emergency Tax and local tax. LA customers to add local taxes.
By law, IA, OR, NM, ID and VA customers are limited to two 12-bottle cases of wine per delivery address per month.
NE, NV, ND, and PA customers are limited to one case per month.
MO and WY customers are limited to two cases per year.
LA customers are limited to four cases per year.
NH customers are limited to six cases per year.

"Consumers must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older on the date of order and residents of Pennsylvania. All wine purchased must be for personal consumption and not for resale. Consumers must select a Wine and Spirits Shoppe for delivery of their order. The Consumer must pick up the product in person at the selected Wine and Spirits Shoppe or designate at the time of order an individual(s) who will be permitted to pick up the order. Whoever picks up the order must be 21 and a Pennsylvania resident. When the order is picked up, the person must present photo identification and be prepared to sign an affidavit that he or she is 21 or older, a Pennsylvania resident and that the wine is for personal use not for resale. The entire order must be picked up; no partial order pick-ups will be permitted.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board endorses no Direct Shipper nor does it provide any warranties either express or implied, as to the fitness or merchantability of any product purchased over the Internet or assumes any liability for the use or misuse of any product. The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board will not accept any returns. All requests for the return of any product ordered over the Internet for any reason must be made directly to the Direct Shipper. For any product damaged after receipt at the Wine and Spirits Shoppe, Consumer will be fully reimbursed for the entire cost of the order by the Board. Any orders not picked up within thirty (30) days of receipt at the Wine and Spirits Shoppe becomes the property of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. It is the Wine Messenger's general policy that discounts and other special offers may not be combined with any other discounts or offers of any kind unless otherwise specified.
