Rodet's Chablis is crafted to highlight the clean fruit and mineral characteristics typical of this Burgundian region. The Chardonnay grapes are pressed softly in a pneumatic press before fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine is then aged 100% in steel; unlike many other white Burgundies, no oak is used in the vinification. This preserves the vigorous, fresh character and minerality that is so prized in Chablis.

Tasting Notes:

A medium gold colored wine with gray tints. On the nose, ripe apple, lemon, and floral notes are complemented by a hint of aniseed and flint. A smooth and delicate Chardonnay with ripe apple, dried apricot and mineral flavors leading up to a long thirst-quenching finish. The perfect accompaniment for shellfish, grilled fish, goat cheese and salads. Drink now through 2009.
