The Beaune Premier Cru vineyard Clos des Fèves is a Chanson monopole - the house owns the entire 10 acre vineyard. This plot has a history of viticulture dating back to the 13th Century!

Made from very low-yielding Pinot Noir vines and aged in French oak casks for 18 months.

Tasting Notes:

Bright ruby color. Intense red fruit, violet, and berry aromas. Elegant and very appealing. The palate shows concentrated spiced fruit flavors with a dry finish. A harmonious mix of complexity, spicy oak, and good tannic structure. Ready to drink now with roasts, duck, chicken or cheeses.
