Lodoli is the name of a small hillside vineyard near the town of Treiso. The grapes were picked during the second half of September before fermenting at a controlled temperature. The wine was then left to mature in steel tanks for 5 months before spending another 2 months in wood botte.

Tasting Notes:

A beautiful, brightly colored violet wine with a fresh and juicy nose of red fruits (cherry, raspberry and red plum), jam, white pepper, and flowers. Fresh and young on the palate with newly-picked plum and blackberry flavors mixed with a hint of herbs. These flavors, coupled with the moderate acidity, structure and tannin make this a perfect food wine. more delicate and elegant than most Dolcetto, this wine will be at its best through 2009. It is ideal with pasta and meat sauce, stews, ripe cheeses and hamburgers.
