An easy drinking Pinot Grigio with a clean finish on zesty fruit.

Release Notes:
Italian Pinot Grigio's attractive combination of refreshing acidity and apple, pear, citrus and stone fruit make it a perennial best-seller. In fact, it now accounts for 1 in 6 bottles of wine imported to the US. Ca’ Lunghetta’s example comes from the Veneto – the vast vineyard area between Verona and Venice. The wine undergoes a cold maceration to extract zesty fruit flavors before fermentation and careful storage to preserve Pinot Grigio’s fruit and freshness.
Tasting Notes:
A pale lemon-green colored wine, this Pinot Grigio has attractive ripe aromas of apple, pear, melon and citrus fruits. Lively and refreshing with peach, lemon, green apple and melon flavors, this easy-drinking white is very pleasant. A balanced wine with a clean finish on fruit. Serve with antipasto, goat cheese, chicken, fish, pasta and salad dishes. Drink now to 2011.
