A fresh and lively white with great citrus fruit and floral undertones. At 12% alcohol with no oak influences, this is a great aperitif wine.

Release Notes:
Viura is a hearty, light skinned grape that is hugely popular among growers and drinkers alike in Spain and, to a lesser extent, in southwestern France, where it is known as Macabeo. The Viura grape produces light whites with a pleasant floral character and relatively low acidity. In this case, it was blended with Moscatel, also known as Muscat. The Moscatel (15%) adds weight, fruit and acidity to the wine creating a dynamic white to be enjoyed young.
Tasting Notes:
A fresh, lively wine with a bright, straw color. The nose offers lovely citrus fruit aromas with slightly floral undertones from the Viura. In the mouth, the fruit flavors evolve into lime, grapefruit and lychee, and are complemented by a smooth mouthfeel. This is a crisp and refreshing wine with a clean finish. Drink now through 2007, and as an aperitif, or with lighter dishes such as fish, rice, pork and chicken.
