Release Notes:
The Campo Liberto Garnacha is made by Vega del Castillo, whose Garnacha vines are some of their oldest – some more than 80 years old, which helps add depth and complexity. The wine is made using the winery’s modern facilities with no oak (only in stainless steel), preserving the soft and fresh fruit characteristics.
Tasting Notes:
A vibrant wine all around, from its beautiful purple color to its luscious fruit. The fruit begins on the nose with ripe red fruit aromas. On the palate the fruit evolves into soft fruit flavors, particularly cherries and berries. This is a very pleasant wine, soft for a red with large amounts of fruit, good depth and complexity. This balance makes it a great wine to serve with a variety of foods, including red meat, sausages, game, rice dishes and cheese.
