Release Notes:
A typical Chilean Cabernet that is softer and easier to drink than one from Bordeaux thanks to the full ripening of the grapes. Made from hand-picked fruit from old vines in the Maule Valley that is fermented in temperature-controlled vats before spending 8 months in oak. The final wine is rounded out with a little Merlot (10%) and Cabernet Franc (5%). A great value.
Tasting Notes:
This versatile Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon is ideal for everyday drinking. Aromas of cassis, red fruit and eucalyptus lead to a medium body with ripe raspberry and plum flavors, and a touch of oak on the long, rich finish. It will pair well with burgers, steak, kebabs and other hearty grill fare. A very smooth, velvety wine with great depth of flavor that is good to have on hand when you fire up the grill. Can age for 2 to 3 more years.
