Release Notes:
Jean Jacques Rachou, the owner of La Cote Basque, chose Champagne de St Gall to produce a full-bodied Champagne for his restaurant. Cuvée Côte Basque is made exclusively with grapes from 1° cru vineyards, and it is very aggressively priced.
Champagne De Saint Gall, the maker of Cuvée Côte Basque, is one of the few Champagne houses to obtain a 4 star rating from specialist, Michael Edwards, owner of 1° Cru and Grand Cru vineyards near Epernay. Tasting Notes:Very fresh, acacia flowers aromas; walnutty flavors; creamy with nutty richness. Small bubbles and good acidity in the finish. Very well made. Can be cellared for the next 2 or 3 years.
