Release Notes:
This is the second wine of Chateau Monbousquet. The wine has the charm of St. Emilion but an incredible concentration and power in 2003. Tasting Notes:Opaque purple color. Nose of sweet black currant and cherry as well as some citrus aromas. Full-bodied with enormous concentration and fruitiness; round; fat almost to the extreme. The young tannins will disappear with a few more months of aging. Long finish on blackberries. Ideal in accompaniment of food (fowl, venison or big roasts). At its best in 2007-2010. Quite elegant.
