Release Notes:
A stunning wine from Château Chênaie’s small white grape vineyard. A blend of Rousanne (85%) and the rare and aromatic Rolle (15%). After a short fermentation, the wine was aged for 11 months in tanks before bottling. This wine received 3 stars, the top award, in the 2004 Hachette guide to the wines of France. Tasting Notes:Pale yellow straw color. The wine has an attractive floral (orange blossom) nose with honeyed hazelnut, apricot and quince aromas. This excellent warm weather wine offers a very round and fleshy, mouth-filling palate with good balance and a smooth finish.
