Release Notes:
The 2004 is a blend of Grenache (60%) and Syrah (40%). The grapes were totally destemmed before each variety was vinified separately. After a long maceration and slow vinification, the wine was blended and aged for 12 months. Tasting Notes:This fresh purple ruby-colored wine is packed with complex aromas of spice and red berry fruit. In the mouth, it has good concentration, ripe berry and stewed fruit character and fine tannins. 2004 was a fine vintage. Ready to drink now to 2009 with roasts, grilled meats, poultry, game, as well as medium to strong cheeses.
