Release Notes:
The Tradition is a blend of Tannat (60%) and Cabernet Franc (40%) grapes grown on silty clay soils with a high density of rolled pebbles. The Tannat supplies the dark fruit flavors and tannic structure while the Cabernet Franc brings spice and herb flavors while adding freshness to the wine. After a long fermentation
to obtain a colorful and very concentrated wine, the wine was aged in oak barrels (40% new) for just over a year.
Tasting Notes:Beautiful dark ruby color with garnet-red tints. Generous nose of fresh fruit with hints of plum, cocoa, and slightly toasted oak. Very soft on the palate, with fruit and vegetable flavors. Long finish with fine, round and well-matured tannins. This wine is perfect to drink with red meat, T-bone, strong flavored cheeses.
