Release Notes:
All the wines from the region are a blend of Syrah and Grenache, the two varietals which do so well there. La Cantilène refers to a monastic song that the troubadours sang in the medieval times. This wine spends 14 months in barriques of which 1/3 are new. It also received One Star in the new Hachette Guide. Tasting Notes:Deep violet color. Aromatic delicious red berries grown on a calcar soil with excellent orientation. Medium-bodied with delicious fruit (raspberries and black cherries); smooth tannins; and power. Long finish on fruit.
