Release Notes:
The 2006 growing season was hotter and drier than average, with hot weather in June and July followed by a wetter, cooler August, before temperatures took off once more in the first part of September. 2006 was a surprisingly good year that has been overshadowed by the remarkable 2005s. High quality, affordable wines are out there, including this small production St. Emilion (only 2,000 cases produced). Tasting Notes:A deep red wine with abundant red fruit aromas and flavors. Great body from the Merlot with concentration, complexity and a supple, finish on silky tannins. An elegant St. Emilion. Serve with fine meats cooked on the grill, game, duck, lamb and cheese. Drink now through 2012. Similar Wines
