Release Notes:
Corda is one of Marin’s largest vineyards including 15 acres of Pinot Noir on their Chileno Valley Ranch. Corda’s new winemaker, Jason Baker, has made an excellent, cool-climate Pinot Noir that is an example of what California Pinot should be, and at a very reasonable price. It is so popular that most of the production is snapped-up by local restaurants, but we were lucky to obtain a few cases. Tasting Notes:Medium color typical of Pinot Noir. Cherry fruit aromas abound on the nose with a touch of spicy oak. Black cherry, pomegranate and cranberry abound on the palate coupled with good acidity, and balanced tannins, with a gorgeous finish on fruit. A textured wine that will go well with roast beef, turkey, sausages, and game. Can age for another 2 to 3 years. Winery:Corda winery is an old favorite of ours.
