Release Notes:
While visiting some old friends in Northern Sonoma, we came across this special cuvée. A unique blend of 2004 Dry Creek Cabernet and 2005 Dry Creek and Alexander Valley Petite Sirah, it is rounded out with a touch of Zinfandel, Syrah and Merlot. The award-winning winery usually sells this wine for $45 or more, but we begged them to let us have some if we kept their identity a secret. Tasting Notes:A deep garnet wine with rich raspberry, black cherry, and tobacco aromas. Violet, plum, pepper and anise notes come across on the smooth and complex palate. A very long finish on dark fruit and spice reveals this wine’s potential. Open 90 minutes before serving with game, Mexican food, steak or cheese, or age it for 5 to 7 years. Similar Wines
