Release Notes:
Champin le Seigneur is a blend of Syrah (90%) and Viognier (10%) like most traditional Côte Rotie. The vines are situated mid slope and have southeastern and southern exposure on the steep mica schist of Côte Rotie. A quarter of the vines are more than 50 years old.
Tasting Notes:An elegant and gorgeous wine, approachable young and full of powerful red and dark fruits, herb, spice, smoke and leather. The ample aristocratic mouthfeel and soft, flexible tannins will change your impression of Syrah. Let breathe an hour before serving. Enjoy now to 2018. Region:Côte-Rôtie, or the “roasted hillside,” produces some of the best and most sought-after Syrah in the world. Similar Wines
