Release Notes:
Château de Rully has been managed by Antonin Rodet since 1986. Its ancient fortress dates back to the 12th century and is the emblem of the village of Rully. Nearly half of the estate’s 75 acres of vines are classified as Premier Crus, and the Château produces approximately 80% white wines and 20% red. The grapes are hand harvested, macerate for nearly two weeks before fermenting in temperature controlled vats. The wine then matures in French oak barrels (20% new oak) for 14 months. Tasting Notes:A shiny and deep ruby color. The nose is full of blackberries with notes of chocolate and toast. In the mouth, this full-bodied burgundy is round with flavors of dark cherry and blackberry fruit. The tannins are well-integrated with a long finish on cherry fruit and spice.
