Ardhuy’s specialty: a rich wine with a long finish hailing from a single vineyard in the Côtes de Nuits.

Located between Ladoix and Corgoloin, Clos des Langres has been recognized for the quality of its products since the 11th century. This is a beautiful, single-vineyard cru from the Côte de Nuits. Grown in limestone atop pearly flagstone soils, the Pinot Noir grapes are hand-harvested, vinified, and then aged in French oak barrels (one third new) for a year before bottling.

Tasting Notes:

A dense red ruby colored wine with a touch of purple on the rim announces a complex nose of red cherries and blackcurrant flavors. Serious dark fruit aromas and an intense earthiness in the palate associated with a light acidity and smooth tannins give this wine a real depth. Drink now to 2020.
