Release Notes:
Les Chaumes comes from a vineyard in the tiny commune of La Chapelle-Vaupelteigne along the Serein River. 2005 was an excellent vintage providing Lamblin with perfectly ripe grapes that were fermented in stainless steel to preserve the fresh fruit and mineral flavors typical of Chablis. Tasting Notes:A gold-yellow colored wine with a nose of white flowers, acacia, citrus and stone fruits (peaches and apricots). On the palate it is clean and crisp with a good attack. Lemon and peach flavors are balanced by a delicate minerality before a long flint and citrus finish.
