An excellent full-bodied Chablis from one of our perennial favorite producers.
|
Release Notes:
2005 was an excellent vintage in Burgundy, and it shows in this golden-colored gem. The elegant, rich nose of white
flowers, minerals, and gun flint precedes a full-bodied wine with good grip and a beautiful palate: a combination of steeliness and fruit
flavors. A good balance between fruit and acidity with a dry finish that is very thirst quenching. Drinks well now, but it will develop until 2010
in a good cellar. The perfect wine for a variety of seafood and shellfish; Chablis is great with salads, soups and poultry, too.
