Release Notes:
Ethnik Rouge, like its white sibling introduced last month, is one of those bargains. Made from grapes grown on the hillsides above the picturesque town of Montpeyroux, Ethnik Rouge has great fruit flavors and concentration. An unusual blend of Merlot (50%) and Grenache (50%), this wine is vinified using the latest winemaking techniques (thermovinifcation) to create a wine with an abundance of red fruit flavors and velvety tannins. Tasting Notes:A ruby colored wine with a touch of violet, Ethnik Rouge explodes on the nose with lively cherry, raspberry and blackberry aromas. The fresh red fruit flavors (fresh raspberry, sour cherry, and juicy plum) continue across the palate. This wine has good concentration, soft integrated tannins, and a smooth finish on fruit. A great summer aperitif that will complement barbecue, burgers, pasta, pizza, and sandwiches. Drink now through the end of 2008. Similar Wines
