A balanced and elegant Amarone with great concentration and a great price.

Release Notes:
A very concentrated wine made by carefully drying the grapes for at least 4 months before crushing them to make wine. This results in 40% or more of the grapes’ weight evaporating, lending a lot of flavor and character to the resulting wine. A blend of Corvina (70%), Rondinella (25%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%), this Amarone aged in wood for more than 18 months before being fined and bottled. Like all of Falasco’s wines, a great value. This wine received the top award at the 2006 International Wine Competition in Verona.
Tasting Notes:
A deep, ruby red colored wine, with vibrant aromas of wild fruits, cocoa and smoke. Despite being full-flavored and concentrated on the palate with powerful fruit flavors and more than 15% alcohol, this wine is also balanced and refined with a rich
cherry finish. Serve with game, grilled meats, stews and matured cheeses, but remember to let it breathe for an hour before serving. It drinks beautifully now but will continue to develop until 2010 to 2012.
