Release Notes:
Falasco Corvina is made from hand-picked grapes that are partially dried in small wood boxes before being crushed. This process allows them to put Parziale Appassimento, meaning "partly dried" on the label. The resulting juice undergoes a slow fermentation at low temperature. The result is a wine that has the characteristic fruitiness of Corvina as well as an intensity and concentration rarely found in this price range.
Tasting Notes:
Beautiful ruby red color. Delicious aromas of red fruit predominate. Rich fruit flavors on the palate with good concentration thanks to the dried fruit. Great texture and length for the price. Vibrant with a nice, clean finish. The perfect pizza, pasta, and bruschetta wine. To drink over the next 24 months.
