Trentino makes some of Italy’s most elegant Pinot Grigio because
of the area’s unique microclimates and varied soils. This beautiful
alpine region is the gateway to the Dolomites, the mountains between this part of Italy and Austria. The Austrian influence is palpable; the Gaierhof winery is named after the mountain that overlooks the town of Roverè della Luna. Their wines are renowned for their freshness, fruitiness and complexity and this Pinot Grigio is no exception.
Tasting Notes:
A straw yellow colored wine with melon, green apple, peach and even jasmine aromas. An elegant wine with fine fruit (quince, pear, and peach) and ripe floral flavors, a round mouthfeel, and straightforward acidity. This white balances its lush flavors with a good clean finish.
