Release Notes:
Barbera is Piedmont's most widely planted grape. Barbera d’Alba is one of the two major appellations of the area. Barbera wines can be described as low tannin, high acid, and dark berry/plum fruit with a minerality typical of the region. These are excellent food wines - the perfect wine for an afternoon picnic or evening dinner by the fire.
Tasting Notes:
Bright raspberry and cherry flavors explode on the nose. This Barbera is refreshingly dry, serving up spicy cherry fruits with a tinge of raspberry and a feints of minerality. Best with cold cuts and cheeses.
