Handley’s Dry Valley vineyards are perfectly suited for Sauvignon Blanc. The warmer climate gives these wines a ripe, full-bodied character. Two thirds of Handley’s Sauvignon Blanc was fermented and aged in French oak barrels giving the wine a round and full texture; the remainder remained in stainless steel tanks, to bring out the fruit and mineral qualities of the wine.

Tasting Notes:

This Sauvignon has a rich nose of melon, mango and citrus aromas. It is very clean on the palate, with white fruit, gooseberry, citrus, and spice flavors balanced with minerality. Overall, it is crisply refreshing with a nice, clean finish. A perfect accompaniment to fish, risotto, poultry, and seafood dishes. Drink now to 2011
