Release Notes:
Hétszölö's vines are some of the most meticulously maintained in all of Central Europe. They use a minimum of chemicals and no pesticides in the vineyards. The wines are fermented in stainless steel tanks in the estate's modern winery and the reserve wines are aged next door. Hétszölö's Aszu wines are renowned for their freshness and suppleness. Aszú 3 Puttonyos contain a minimum 60 g/l residual sugar.
Tasting Notes:
A deep golden color with an exquisitely refined and complex nose of dried apricot, peach, orange, honey, cashew and walnut. A wine that is fresh and sumptuous with apple and apricot flavors and good acidity. It possesses a complexity that confirms Tokaji's reputation as the “king of wines and wine of kings" (Louis XIV). A truly revelatory experience to be served with fresh berries, tarts, chocolates, foie gras, and delicate cheeses, or as an after-dinner drink.
