Release Notes:
Many drinkers of Rhône wine buy Gigondas instead of Chateauneuf du Pape. Gigondas has the same varietals as Chateauneuf: Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah but is generally less expensive. This wine has a good harmony, balance, and an elegance that you always find in the wines of Guy Daniel. As concentrated as a good Chateauneuf! Ideal with barbecues, roasts, and with red meats, this Gigondas can develop until 2012-15. Winery:LA Bastide St. Vincent is a family-owned estate that dates back to the 18th century. The Daniel family owns 50 acres of small vineyards spread out across a half dozen villages.... Read more Similar Wines
