Release Notes:
Birillo Bianco is a new wine from Tenuta Marsiliana. Birillo is a blend of the local Vermentino di Toscana (63%) and Sauvignon Blanc (37%). It is a very refreshing Tuscan alternative to Pinot Grigio.
Tasting Notes:
A pale lemon colored wine that has a very aromatic nose of quince, melons, apples, and a touch of grass. On the palate, Birillo is crisp, clean and fruity with fresh stone fruit flavors (apricots, quince, and peaches). A food-friendly white wine that will pair well with seafood, salads, soups, vegetable risotto, and pasta. Drink now through 2010.
