A 100% Syrah from Crozes-Hermitage, one of our favorite appelations of the Northern Rhône. Made from old vines with southeastern exposure.

Tasting Notes:

A deep violet colored wine with an expansive nose of red and black fruit, earth, licorice and candied fruit aromas. It has smooth, rounded tannins and very lush and rich, concentrated red fruit on the palate. A supple and complex full-bodied Syrah that drinks great now to 2009. It makes a nice accompaniment to charcuterie, duck, herbed chicken, and Indian food.
