Release Notes:
One of France's most popular red wines, Côtes du Rhône will rarely disappoint. This example comes from a small estate called Les Trois Couronnes, the three crowns, near the town of Tulette, nor far from the more famous Cairanne and Rasteau. It is a classic Côtes du Rhône blend of Grenache (80%) and Syrah (20%) with impressively fresh Grenache fruit complemented by the body and structure of Syrah.
Tasting Notes:
A ruby-purple colored wine with striking black fruit, pepper, spice and anise aromas. Incredibly round and generous in the mouth, this red wine has elegant, lush plum, cherry, licorice, pepper and eastern spice
flavors before a medium to long finish on fruit and spice. Enjoy with BBQ, stews, roasted meats, and cheese. Drink now to 2010.
