A great rosé for spring and summer, Luc Pirlet's Syrah is full of luscious strawberry and raspberry fruit aromas and flavors. Ideal for outdoor meals.

Release Notes:
Luc Pirlet's rosé is made exclusively from Syrah grown in pebbly vineyards in the southern France's Corbières region. The grapes from these steeply sloped, low-yielding vineyards are not pressed. Instead the free-run juice is drawn off the skins and fermented at low temperature. This technique produces a fresh and fruity wine, without harsh tannins.
Tasting Notes:
A pale ruby-cherry colored wine with luscious nose of watermelon, strawberry, and raspberry. Fresh and fruity on palate with red berry flavors, crisp acidity, good balance and a clean, refreshing finish on fruit. The perfect spring & summer aperitif, enjoy this wine with salads, vegetables, sandwiches, and quiche. Drink now to 2009. Serve chilled.
