Release Notes:
Pinot Blanc is at its best in Alsace. Martin Zahn’s signature example is crisp and easy to enjoy. It comes from vineyards located in the heart of Alsace around the town of Ribeauvillé, right on a geological fault that creates a large patchwork of terroirs. Martin Zahn blend grapes from some of the town’s best vineyards to craft a refreshing, light and fruity Pinot Blanc. Tasting Notes:This pale gold wine has tantalizing aromas of white fruit and pineapple. Medium-bodied in the mouth, it has structure and an abundance of soft white fruit flavors (peaches) leading to a dry finish on fruit. This wine should be enjoyed over the next several years (to 2011), and is ideal with salads, sushi, poultry, spicy foods (especially Asian cuisine) or on its own as an aperitif. ![]() Alsace's abundant hillside vineyards Winery:Cave de Ribeauvillé is located in the heart of Alsace right on a geological fault that creates the greatest patchwork of terroirs.
