Release Notes:
Muscadet is one of the Loire Valley’s most famous wines. This crisp and invigorating white wine made from the Melon de Bourgogne grape is famous for being an excellent partner to shellfish, especially oysters. Like all the best Muscadet, this wine was bottled sur lie – straight from the fermentation vat – a technique that adds richness and texture to the wine. Tasting Notes:This wine has a nose of citrus and stone fruits (peaches). On the palate, crisp peach, orange peel, and mineral flavors predominate. This wine is fresh and crisp like a good Muscadet should be with an elegant mouthfeel before a fresh, tangy finish.
