Release Notes:
Vasca S-13 is the flagship wine of No1 Negociants. This trio has paired
with noted Sicilian winemaker Gaspare Vinci to create a unique and amazing wine. A distinctive blend of Nero d’Avola (60%), Merlot (30%) and Tannat (10%) from the wind-swept vineyards around the town of Erice, Vasca S-13 gets it rich, jammy fruit flavors from an extended
maceration on the skins.
Tasting Notes:
A garnet colored wine with hints of purple. On the nose, it has aromas of brush tobacco, spice and dark fruit. In the mouth, the wine has an intense blackberry fruit core complemented by plum, tobacco, cardamom, and garrigue flavors before a long finish on spice. This wine will
continue to develop complexity through 2013. Open an hour before serving to let breathe. Enjoy with lasagna, pork (especially barbecued ribs), lamb and roast beef.
