A well balanced New World white from Peel Estate with soft fruit and floral flavors.
|
Release Notes:
Premium White is a blend of Chenin Blanc (80%) from the Peel region and Sauvignon Blanc (20%) from the nearby Margaret River region. The rich Chenin provides honey and fruit aromas and flavors, while the Sauvignon is a classic herbaceous style bringing acidity and structure to the blend. You will enjoy this delicious and easy-drinking white from Australia.
Tasting Notes:
On the nose, the Chenin predominates with notes of honeysuckle, citrus, and apple blossom. The palate is full of soft, delicious fresh fruit f lavors with a touch of residual sugar, which boosts the fruitiness even more. A well-balanced New World-style blend, this wine can keep until 2009 but drinks very well now. The perfect aperitif or accompaniment to grilled fish, salads, sushi and spicy foods like Mexican, Indian or Thai cuisine.
