The town of Orvieto sits on the hilltop site of an ancient Etruscan stronghold that dominates the surrounding countryside. Besides being the home to the finest cathedral façade in Italy, Orvieto also lends its name to Umbria’s most famous white wines.

Pievano’s Orvieto Classico comes from a vineyard with chalky soil that adds minerality and complexity to the wine. Traditional grapes (Trebbiano & Grechetto) are blended with a familiar favorite (Chardonnay) to produce an astonishingly rich and complex Italian white.

Tasting Notes:

Pale yellow colored wine with melon, peach and pear aromas.In the mouth, this clean, elegant white has creamy fruit flavors, crisp acidity, minerality and a refreshing finish.
