Rully built a reputation in the early 19th century as a producer of high-quality sparkling wines. Since then, Rully has also developed a steady following among lovers of white Burgundy who look to this appellation for underappreciated values. The Roux family has lived in nearby St. Aubin since the 17th century, and they produce wines from their 62-acre estate as well as from grapes purchased from vineyards in other villages. The grapes for their Régis de Vallière Rully are grown in the clay and chalky soils of Rully’s Mollepierre vineyard. After temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine matures in a combination of stainless steel tanks and oak casks. This elegant Chardonnay is served at the restaurant at Wimbledon during the Tennis Championships! Tasting Notes:A golden colored wine with hints of green.
