Sancerre, along with the neighboring Pouilly-Fumé appellation, is the home of finest aromatic, dry wines made from Sauvignon Blanc. These easy-drinking, mineral-rich whites are among the most complex wines you can find, and are great aperitifs and fine complements to food.

Tasting Notes:

Fragrant aromas of herbs, grapefruit and citrus dominate the nose. This wine is very refreshing with crisp acidity, typical of Sancerre, and elegant citrus fruit flavors. The finish offers a fine balance of rich fruit and mineral flavors. This wine is great alone or with all kinds of seafood (especially grilled salmon steaks), heavily seasoned dishes, Asian cuisine and goat cheese. Drink now to 2009.
