Caves du Prieuré, relies on low-yielding vineyards planted on limestone soils rich in flint deposits, and a strict selection of the grapes to ensure under-ripe fruit does not get into the fermentation vat. They are written up every year in the Hachette guide as one of the finest small producers of Sancerre. Tasting Notes:Fragrant aromas of herbs, grapefruit and citrus dominate the nose. This wine is very refreshing with crisp acidity, typical of Sancerre, and elegant citrus fruit flavors. The finish offers a fine balance of rich fruit and mineral flavors.
