Release Notes:
Grown in stony vineyards at 1000 meters elevation in the arid Uco Valley, the warm, sunny days and cool nights ensure a long growing season allowing the grapes to ripen fully. A portion of the wine was aged in American and French oak barrels before being blended with a small amount (5%) of Cabernet Sauvignon for structure. Tasting Notes:A brilliant plum red wine with attractive aromas of ripe berry fruit and a hint of spice, coffee, tobacco and raisin. On the palate, this wine is full of raspberry, blackberry, and blackcurrant fruit and concentrated oak and spice notes. A smooth, structured wine with a long finish. Enjoy with red meats, steak, lamb, boar, duck, and strong cheeses now to 2011. Country:History Similar Wines
